On July 22, 2014, Davao City Councilor Leo Avila presented the Committee Report on the state of messy wires in Davao City. He also presented to the floor the recommendations to formulate an ordinance to regulate wires, cables, and poles used by different utility companies. Avila proposed that we explore the feasibility of underground wires and cables to permanently put a stop to messy wires once and for all.
