Secdea Beach Resort is located at San Isidro, Babac, Island Garden City of Samal. The resort takes the pride of its natural pulchritude of crystal blue waters that stand among other resorts. It has wonderful rooms with spectacular views of the ocean, pearly white sand, and astonishing private garden.
Accommodations
Villa Secdea Two
Inspired by two-storey Filipino houses that epitomized the Spanish Colonial era, the wrap-around patio on the second floor of Villa SECDEA invites you to take in the serene panorama of the beach.
Sea Shells Room
This is a comfortable 3-person room. A queen-sized bed and a single sleeper in this room houses a compact family of three.
Sea Breeze Lodge
This unit has a master’s bedroom and a minor room for bigger families. It can comfortably accommodate 4 persons.
Seaside Cottage
The seaside cottages are Spartan, in a rustic way. It is one of the favorite accommodations due to its spectacular view of the ancient Mangroves, the winding wooden boardwalk and the sea.
Amenities
Villa Secdea Private Bar
The name says it all. It’s your own bar, completely stocked, with its own bartender.
The Quaint Little Gym
It looks more like a cottage than what it actually is – a modestly-equipped gymnasium. It invites you to come in and explore.
Secdea Mangroves
The Mangroves in the SECDEA coast are ancient. The branches are knobby and gnarled. They have twisted and turned to get their leaves to reach sunlight. It is a slow process marked by every coiling of the branch, every bend in the trunk.
The Infinity Restaurant
So named because the restaurant looks out to the massive vista that is the pool spilling out into the sea.
Natural Wall Climbing Facility and Rappelling Platform
For the outdoorsy types who want to scale a 30-40 foot ridge without built-in foot and handholds, try our Wall-Climbing facility. The harness comes as a standard, but the climb will definitely test your skills. Get a load of the view from the top – literally. From the launching platform, take time to enjoy the panorama that is north-east Samal, as you rappel your way to the ground.
The Infinity Pool
The pool is a spacious water playground for kids and adults alike. The view is that of water. Endless water, and two islands – fondly called Small Ligid Island (small wheel) and Big Ligid Island (big wheel) by the locals.
Fishing Lagoon
The lagoon has a variety of fishes: Tilapia, Bangus, even colored Carp! We have spotted Philippine Pond turtles endemic to the lagoon. Perhaps you can, too! Watch out for the occasional Iguana. They may startle you as they skim the water, but are generally harmless.
Basketball and Tennis Court
No self-respecting Filipino resort should be without a Basketball court. The tennis court is also available and usable. Just be sure to bring your own rackets, balls and tennis buddies.
