A common dish among indigenous peoples in the highlands of Davao is nilotlot (native chicken slow-cooked for at least 3 hours in coconut milk and ginger inside a bamboo pole over charcoal) served here by womenfolk of the Bagobo Tagabawa tribe at the Tibolo Cultural Village in Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.
