TUDAYA HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANTS - Sta. Cruz, Davao Del Sur


The Tudaya hydroelectric plant was constructed at Barangays Astorga and Rizal in Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur, harnessing Sibulan River.

The Tudaya Hydropower Project is composed of two run-of-river type plants that will contribute to the energy needs of Mindanao by early 2014. The first plant, the Tudaya 1 system will be located upstream from the Sibulan A Hydro with a forecasted capacity of 6.6 MW.

The Tudaya Hydropower Project is composed of two run-of-river type plants that will contribute to the energy needs of Mindanao by early 2014. The second plant, the Tudaya 2 will be downstream from Sibulan B Hydro and will have a capacity of 7.0 MW.
